It is located in Magdeburg's Stadtfeld Ost district on the east side of Gellertstrasse in a corner at the confluence with Roseggerstrasse. The building, which is also listed, is adjacent to Roseggerstrasse 1 to the east .
Architecture and history
The three-story house was built in 1914 by the architect and master mason Erich Glimm . The facade of the plastered building is slightly plastic and decorated with stucco. There are reliefs depicting vases and goblets. The design shows elements of neoclassicism . To the south towards Roseggerstrasse there are two flat polygonal bay windows with loggias arranged between them. The two outermost axes of the building each step back a little. The house is covered with a hipped roof .
Due to its prominent corner location, the building is seen as defining the street scene.
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed as a monument under registration number 094 76770 .
