The European Youth Organization (EJW) - English European Youth Foundation (EYF) , French Fonds Européen pour la Jeunesse (FEJ) - is a foundation of the Council of Europe that supports youth exchanges within Europe and active youth participation . It was founded in 1972 together with the European Youth Center Strasbourg to implement the youth policy of the Council of Europe. It is based in Strasbourg and has an annual budget of around 3.5 million euros.

The youth organization supports and promotes the projects of youth organizations and non-governmental organizations in Europe. Since 1972, more than 350,000 young people between the ages of 15 and 30 have benefited from activities carried out with EYF funding. Around 950 organizations from the 50 member states of the European cultural agreement are registered as partners. The various projects must relate to the values and goals of the Council of Europe. Since it was founded in 1972, more than 300,000 young people (between the ages of 15 and 30) have taken part in projects.

In the Programming Committee on Youth (CPJ) , the decisions on the funding priorities and applications are made equally by representatives of the governments of the member states and by young people themselves, who are organized in the Advisory Council on Youth (AC) and are sent from there to the Programming Committee , met.
