European Air Force Academies

European Air Force Academies (EUAFA) is an association of European officer schools .

After the European Air Chiefs Conference (EURAC) was launched in 1993, school commanders subsequently founded the European Air Force Academies (EUAFA) to exchange information, initiate collaborations and find common ground. Above all, the next generation of officers and trainers are to be further supported militarily and academically through international contacts . In 1998 a working group was set up for this purpose, which among other things maintains a database .

The currently participating countries are NATO member states or signatory states to the Partnership for Peace : Belgium , Denmark , Germany , Finland , France , Greece , Ireland , Italy , the Netherlands , Norway , Austria , Poland , Portugal , Romania , Sweden , Switzerland , Spain , Czech Republic , Turkey , Hungary and the United Kingdom .

For Germany, the Air Force Officer School (OSLw) in Fürstenfeldbruck is involved.

The chairmanship is held for the following years: Germany (2016) and the Netherlands (2017).
