The European Arboricultural Council eV ( EAC ), based in the Haus der Landschaft in Bad Honnef, is a forum in which delegates from European tree care organizations have come together. Their aim, the quality and to increase the profession through promotion of research and training further to ensure a successful tree care and improving working methods.

The EAC coordinates and represents the interests of the responsible institutions , personalities and politicians in Europe and in the individual countries in order to achieve improvements in the following areas:

- Education and training in tree care

- Tree management
- Monitoring of diseases and pests
- Harmonization of tree care in Europe
