The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS) is a Europe-wide association of national professional associations for financial analysts. The organization represents more than 17,000 capital market experts (investment professionals) in 26 European countries.

The organization offers, among other things, the international qualification for Certified European Financial Analyst (CEFA). This degree is intended to create a high and uniform training standard for investment professionals within Europe. Among other things, the CEFA imparts in-depth knowledge of the specifics of the respective national market in terms of regulation and market structures.

In Germany, the CEFA can be obtained as a partial certification as part of the international CIIA program of the DVFA , German Association for Financial Analysis and Asset Management.

Although the association has not formulated a uniform European code of conduct, it does promote the principles of ethical behavior.
