Eurydactylodes is a genus from the family of the double- fingered geckos (Diplodactylidae). All species of this genus are endemic to the island of New Caledonia .
The animals of the genus Eurydactylodes are nocturnal. A peculiarity of this genus is a sticky, foul-smelling secretion that is secreted by paired glands on the tail. The tail serves these geckos as a grasping organ and an aid for their arboricole way of life.
