Eusebio Antonio de Icaza González (born February 15, 1948 in the Mexican Embassy in Beirut ) is a former Mexican ambassador .

Life

Eusebio Antonio de Icaza González's father was Francisco Asís de Icaza y León. Eusebio Antonio de Icaza González studied International Relations at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico . He went through a picture-book career along the minimum ages for the respective ranks. He entered the foreign service in 1970 with the rank of Vice-Consul. He was promoted to third class secretary in 1971, second class secretary in 1972, and first class secretary in 1974. He was promoted to consejero in 1975, ministro consejero in 1979 and promoted to ambassador on April 12, 1982.

From 1970 to 1971 he was an analyst at the Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores . From 1973 to 1974 assistant to the State Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, José S. Gallástegui. From 1974 to 1977 assistant to the state secretaries in the Foreign Ministry Alfonso de Rosenzweig-Díaz. From 1980 to 1983 General Manager. From 1983 to 1986 he headed the Latin America and Caribbean Department. From 1988 to 1991 he was Secretary of the Foreign Minister. From 1991 to 1993 he was the highest official in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 1971 to 1973 he was the tercer secretario chargé d'affaires in Panama.
