Eva Kubinyi

Eva Kubinyi (* 1969 ) is a German designer who specializes in typography and graphic design . She teaches as since 2015 professor of typography at the Design division of FH Aachen .

Life

After studying at the Merz Academy in Stuttgart , Eva Kubinyi joined the Atelier Intégral Ruedi Baur in Paris . For more than 25 years she worked there in conception and project management, as a partner and managing director . In addition to her professional activity as a designer, she took on various teaching positions in the field of graphic design and typography, in France (École supérieure d'art et de design d'Amiens, Esad Amiens), in Switzerland ( Lucerne University of Applied Sciences (HSLU)) and in Germany ( Bauhaus University Weimar ). Since October 2015 she has been teaching and researching in the design department of the FH Aachen.

Work areas

Her practical work focuses on typography and graphic design, especially for global design programs. She was involved in many international projects at Atelier Intégral Ruedi Baur in Paris, such as the guidance system for the Swiss national exhibition Expo.02 , the appearance of the 2000 year celebrations in France , the appearance and the guidance system of Cologne / Bonn Airport , the guidance system of the city of Metz , the guidance system of Vienna International Airport and the guidance system of the new Grand Paris Express metro lines .
