Donald Beer

Donald Anton Eilers "Don" Beer (born May 31, 1935 in New York City , New York , United States , † January 25, 1997 in Princeton , New Jersey , United States) was an American rower and Olympic champion .

Life

Donald Beer was born in New York City (New York) and was a member of the Yale Bulldogs . Beer won the gold medal in rowing ( eighth ) with the US team at the age of 21 at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne . He died in 1997 at the age of 61.
