Henk-Jan Zwolle (born November 30, 1964 in Enschede ) is a former Dutch rower , in 1996 he was Olympic champion with an eighth .

Zwolle reached sixth place at the Junior World Championships in 1982 with the Dutch quadruple scull . In 1986 he took fifth place in the adult class in the same boat class; Nico Rienks and Ronald Florijn also sat in this boat . In 1987 he and Bart Peters finished eighth in a double scull at the 1987 World Rowing Championships . The following year Zwolle competed in the Olympic Games in Seoul in singles and was twelfth, Rienks and Florijn won the gold medal in double sculls.

After two more years in the single without placing in the finals at major events, Zwolle competed in the 1991 World Rowing Championships in Vienna with Nico Rienks in the double scull and won the title in front of the Soviet and the German boat. The following year, at the Olympic Games in Barcelona, the boats from Australia and Austria were ahead of Rienks and Zwolle, who thus received the bronze medal.

According to a seventh place in the quadruple sculls at the World Rowing Championships in 1993 changed Zwolle 1994 by Skull for Sweep Rowing .
