David Dunlap

David "Dave" Coombs Dunlap (born November 19, 1910 in Napa , California , † December 16, 1994 there ) was an American rower .

1.89 m tall David Dunlap graduated from the University of California, Berkeley . In 1932, the eighth of the Golden Bears , the sports team at the University of Berkeley, won the championships of the Intercollegiate Rowing Association and also qualified for the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles . Dunlap rowed in the middle of the boat that won the Olympic Regatta by four seconds ahead of the Canadian boat. In the final, the Italian eighth, who was two tenths of a second behind the Californian boat at the finish, led the Canadians bronze.

After completing his law degree, Dunlap practiced as a lawyer in San Francisco.
