The Haven Mountain (from English haven , refuge, safe place ) is a 2470 m high mountain in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the northwestern part of the Britannia Range, it rises 3 km northeast of the Three Nunataks . A special feature of this mountain is a sharp-ridge and snow-covered ridge in the eastern section.
The team to explore the Darwin Glacier in the Commonwealth Trans-Antarctic Expedition (1955-1958) named him after they had to seek shelter on the snow-free north ridge of the mountain for five days due to threatening weather conditions.
