Ronald Harcourt Sanderson (born December 11, 1876 in Uckfield , † April 17, 1918 in Gommecourt , France ) was a British rower and Olympic champion in eighth .

Ronald Sanderson was a member of the Leander Club . He received his education at Harrow and then at Trinity College , Cambridge. In 1899 and 1900 he took part in the Boat Race for Cambridge and won both times. His father had already taken part in the Boat Race for Cambridge in 1862. At the 1908 Olympic regatta held in Henley , Sanderson won the final with the eighth of the Leander Club against the large Belgian boat.

Ronald Sanderson was an officer in the Royal Field Artillery in the First World War .
