Herbert Morris

Herbert Roger Morris (born July 16, 1915 in Seattle , † July 22, 2009 in Maple Valley ) was an American rower.

Morris grew up in Fremont , Seattle . He studied at the University of Washington and was a member of the university's rowing team. In 1936 he took part in the Summer Olympics in Berlin and won a gold medal in eighth with Charles Day , Gordon Adam , John White , Jim McMillin , George Hunt , Joseph Rantz , Donald Hume and Robert Moch .

After completing his studies, he worked as a mechanical engineer.
