René Duhamel
René Duhamel (born February 1, 1935 in Rouen , Département Seine-Maritime , † March 11, 2007 ) was a French rower .
The resident in Rouen René Duhamel and Bernard Monnereau reached at the European Rowing Championships in 1958 in the double sculls second behind the Soviet two Berkutow / Tjukalow . At the Olympic Games in 1960 , the two French took fourth place.
In 1962 the first rowing world championships took place on the Rotsee near Lucerne . German rowers won five of seven gold medals, only in the two Skull won -Bootsklassen other rowing associations: Vyacheslav Ivanov of the Soviet Union in one and Monnereau / Duhamel in double sculls, in the double sculls silver went to the Soviet Union and bronze to Germany. At the Olympic Games in 1964 , the two French took sixth place.
