Life

After graduating from high school, Siegmund completed an apprenticeship as a church painter and then studied law at the Free University of Berlin . After working in the editing department of a Berlin audio publisher, she now lives as an author with her husband in Limburg and Barcelona. She works as a freelance author and editor.

In 2014 her first youth novel with the title “LÚM - Zwei wie Licht und Dunkel” was published by the Random House publishing group at cbt . The dystopian book takes place in the rubble city of Adeva, in which all 15-year-olds decide on the night of the mantai which gift they have.

In 2016 Eva Siegmund's second novel for young people with the title “Pandora - What are you dreaming of?” Was also published by cbt. The book is again a dystopia that takes place in the Berlin of the future and in which most people have a chip implanted that has long since replaced the mobile phone. The twin sisters Sophie and Liz only found out about each other shortly before their 18th birthday, because both were adopted into separate families. The reason was that their father, who worked for the all-powerful NeuroLink Solutions Inc. - manufacturer of the chips - should have killed their mother. After he dies in the correctional facility, the two sisters learn of their common fate. You want to find out more, but you are putting yourself at great risk.
