The Martvili Gospel Book ( Georgian მარტვილის ოთხთავი or მარტვილის სახარება) is an 11th century Georgian manuscript . It is a liturgical book and contains the text of the New Testament Gospels . It was created by the two Georgian calligraphers Ioane Meswete Eschisdse in the monastery and Arssen martvili written. The book was commissioned by Ioane Pardschaniani.

The text is in brown ink, but the titles and most important parts in red. The Georgian script Nuschuri was used for the text, but the capital script Assomtawruli was used for the title and initials . The manuscript is adorned with ornamental initials and two miniatures of the evangelists Matthew and Mark .

The gospel book is written on parchment . The manuscript contains 186 sheets of 23 cm × 19 cm. Today the Martvili Gospels are kept in the Georgian National Manuscript Center under the shelfmark S-391.
