The Armenian Evangelical Church ( Turkish Ermeni Protestan Kilisesi , Armenian Հայաստանեայց Աւետարանական Եկեղեցի Hajastaneajz 'Awjetaranakan Yekeghez'i ) is a historic church building of the Armenian Evangelical denomination in the city center of Elâzığ . The area of the church is currently used as a parking lot.

The Evangelical Church was built in the 19th century during the Ottoman period and was used by the Arpacı flour factory after the Armenian genocide in 1915 . Later it was used as a market hall and goat stall. In 2007 it was announced that it would be converted into a hospital, which has not yet been implemented. There are currently plans to build a hotel in its place.

Although it has been listed in the list of historical monuments of the “District Directorate for Cultural and Natural Heritage Protection of Diyarbakır(Diyarbakır Kültür ve Tabiat Varlıklarını Koruma Bölge Müdürlüğü) , the church was left to decay. The roof has collapsed, the old frescoes above the apse are difficult to see. The entrance is damaged. Despite an E-letter in Armenian script above the choir , it is still listed in the protection list under the name " Assyrian Church of Elâzığ".
