The builder of the church building was probably Clemens August H. Uhlmann. The church tower was handed over in 1890. In the church tower there is a round window with a window frame made of stone in the shape of a Star of David . The church tower received a bell in the same year as a gift from Emperor Wilhelm II . In 1963 two more bells and an electric bell were purchased. The last renovation of the church took place in 1980–1989.
