Evangelical Parish Church of St. Cornelius and Cyprian (Biberach)
The Evangelical Parish Church of St. Cornelius and Cyprian in the Heilbronn district of Biberach was built in 1830 and goes back to a previous building from the 15th century, which was used as a simultaneous church for Evangelicals and Catholics after 1675 .

The oldest parish church in Biberach dates back to the 15th century and has merged into the Protestant church of St. Cornelius and Cyprian (1830). The church, consecrated to Saints Cornelius and Cyprian , was first mentioned in the Worms Synod in 1496. The church belonged to the diocese of Worms and was financed and maintained by the Provost of Worms. Wimpfen acquired Biberach in 1407. In 1585/86 the Reformation found its way into Biberach and the church became Protestant. The church seems to have been rebuilt at the time of the late Renaissance (consecrated October 21, 1627).
Since 1675, at the insistence of the Teutonic Order , which had owned Biberach for a long time , the church served as a simultaneous church for both Christian denominations. In 1681 Biberach came completely to the Teutonic Order, which then established the local rule and also appointed the pastor for Biberach. After Biberach fell to Württemberg in 1805 and thus to a Protestant state rule, the Protestant community applied for the church to be reimbursed. On August 3, 1820, however, a ministerial decree was issued expressly confirming its continued use as a simultaneous church.
In 1830 the nave was renewed due to dilapidation and inaugurated on June 27, 1830. Building officer Jacob Friedrich Nellmann (1785-1853) had handed over the construction management to the Stadtwerkmeister Schächterle from Heilbronn. In the course of the renovation of the church, the tower was expanded at the same time, which has been three-story since then and has a pointed spire covered with slate. In the lower part of the tower there are Gothic pointed arch windows. A semicircular stair tower is attached. The windows are square. The choir has a rib vault. The main nave is surrounded by three galleries.
The continued use as a simultaneous church is said to have given rise to constant annoyance and annoyance in both denominations about the shared use by the other, so that the Catholic community decided to build its own church, which received the same patronage . The Roman Catholic parish church of St. Cornelius and Cyprian was completed by 1863.
The future exclusively Protestant church was renovated in 1879 in the neo-Gothic style and received a new pulpit and painting. Since then, further renovations and alterations have taken place. A memorial was erected in the church for those who fell in the two world wars. The church received new stained glass windows, the tomb of the major general in the French service of Klug, who owned the town from 1650 to 1681, was moved to a corner under the organ loft. The tombstone bears the following inscription:
