Pfarrer-Flick-Haus (street front)

The former Protestant rectory of Petterweil is a two-story residential building. It was built in the middle of the 18th century on the western outskirts and served the pastors of St. Martin's Church as a residence. After its most famous resident, the clergyman and freedom fighter Heinrich Christian Flick , it is nicknamed Pastor Flick House . He lived in the house from 1812 onwards. At his death in 1869 he made a will that a poor and sick foundation should be set up there. Today it serves as a community center for the Protestant parish.

The rectory was built in the late baroque style. The elongated building is finished with a crooked hip roof. The load - bearing half-timbered construction was recently covered with panels and is now covered by a plaster facade. Originally a farm building also belonged to the house, but this was largely removed when the community center was rebuilt.

Because of its historically significant use, the house is a listed building .
