Lovendegem is a district of the Belgian municipality of Lievegem in the Flanders region with 9574 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2018). Until January 1, 2019, Lovendegem was an independent municipality with the main town Lovendegem and the smaller district Vinderhoute .

Ghent is 8 km south-east, Bruges 30 km north-west and Brussels around 58 km south-east.

The next motorway exits are at Gent and Nevele on the A10 / E 40 . In Evergem - Sleidinge and Nevele- Landegem are the next regional stations .
