Evans Ridge is a massive and 19 km long ridge in the Victory Mountains in East Antarctica Victoria Land . With a north-south orientation, it rises between the Midway and McKellar glaciers .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1960 and 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Arthur Evans, secretary of the New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee .
