Evelyn Kenzler
Evelyn Kenzler (born December 2, 1962 in Berlin-Pankow ) is a German politician ( SED ; PDS ) and former member of the German Bundestag .
Life
Kenzler made in 1981 at the Carl-von-Ossietzky-Gymnasium in Berlin her high school . Two years later she began studying law at the Humboldt University in Berlin . In 1987 she began studying research at Berlin University, where she also received her doctorate in 1991. She works as a freelance lawyer and counts labor and family law among her main areas of expertise.
politics
Kenzler joined the SED in 1983, and in 1989 the successor party, the PDS, where she had been a member of the party council since 1995 . In the 1998 Bundestag elections , she entered the Bundestag via the state list of Saxony, but only retained her mandate for this one legislative period and therefore left parliament in 2002.
