Architecture and history
The small bronze sculpture was created by Karl Göte Bejemark in 1985 . It shows the artist Evert Taube, standing right next to a house wall, how, despite his sunglasses , he seems to blink at the sun. He is holding his last composition in his hand. The sculpture is designed with different colors, which reinforces its lively impression. A little further north of the sculpture is the restaurant Den Gyldene Freden , where Taube frequented.
The figure was erected on June 18, 1985 and was financed by a donation from the IKEA company.
