Evolutionary medicine

Under Evolutionary Medicine (also briefly evolutionary medicine or Darwinian medicine ) is defined as still a young branch of medicine that the findings of the modern evolutionary biology uses to human diseases better understand and heal. The central aim of this approach is to find out the evolutionary causes of diseases instead of just treating symptoms. The Evolutionary Medicine came up with the beginning of the 1990s, with the publication of the book Why We Get Sick: the new science of Darwinian medicine written by, George C. Williams and Randolph M. Nesse can be seen as a major boost.
