Randolph M. Nesse

Randolph Martin Nesse (* 1948 ) is an American physician and evolutionary biologist . Nesse is known for his work in the fields of evolutionary psychology , evolutionary medicine and medical theory .

Randolph M. Nesse is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School. He was Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at the same university, Professor at the Institute of Social Research and Director of the Evolution and Human Adaptation Program .

In 2014 he moved to Arizona as director and professor at the newly founded Center for Evolution, Medicine and Public Health .
