Ewa Polano

Ewa Polano (born January 5, 1958 ) is a Swedish diplomat .

Career

Polano has worked for the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 1987. From 2001 to 2006 she was the Swedish ambassador to Mexico .

From September 2009 Polano was the Swedish Ambassador in Jakarta with responsibility for Indonesia , ASEAN and East Timor . On June 19, 2014, she left Jakarta and moved directly to the post of Swedish ambassador to Qatar . She stayed here until September 2019. Since then, Polano has been the Swedish ambassador in Luanda , responsible for Angola and São Tomé and Príncipe . She handed over her accreditation for Angola on October 16, 2019.
