Ewald Gaul

Ewald Gaul (born February 5, 1919 ; † September 29, 2004 ) was a German author, environmentalist and politician ( ödp ) from Karlsruhe .

Life

After graduating from high school, Gaul completed the Reich Labor Service . In 1944 he was arrested by the Gestapo . He studied law , folk science and psychology . In 1946 he received his doctorate as Dr. jur. From 1946 he worked for various companies as managing director and general representative . From 1960 he specialized in the field of mass psychology in collaboration with Hans Domizlaff . From 1966 he was self-employed as owner of the Institute for Market and Business Psychology after he had overcome cancer. In 1972 he became a member of the SPD .

Gaul was also active as an author. 1974 appeared with atomic energy or a way out of the crisis? his best known book, which was published several times under the editor Freimut Duve . The remaining edition of the book as a paperback was made available in 1985 to the World Association for the Protection of Life , of which Gaul was a member, for public relations work.

Gaul was a founding member of the ödp in 1982 and was a member of the federal board in the beginning.

In 1983 he had three issues independently of a leaf named Environmental Strategies published , from which the party newspaper ecology policy developed.
