Ewald Ritter

Ewald Ritter (born January 24, 1953 in Markt Allhau ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and teacher. From 1998 to 2005, Ritter was a member of the Burgenland Landtag .

education and profession

Ritter was born as the son of the bricklayer Josef Ritter from Markt Allhau. He attended the local elementary and secondary school and then the music-pedagogical federal high school in Hartberg , where he graduated in 1971. He then attended the Pedagogical Academy in Graz and in 1973 passed the examination for the teaching post for elementary schools. Knight then worked as a primary school teacher in Oberwart and Grodnau as well as on the polytechnic course in Oberwart. Ritter studied psychology and education in parallel and graduated in 1993 with the academic degree Dr. phil. from. He was then from 1993 to 2000 scientific supervisor for integration school experiments.

politics

From 1992 on, Ritter was a local councilor in Markt Allhau and from 1995 he was vice mayor. On January 27, 1998, he was sworn in as a member of the Burgenland Landtag, of which he was a member until October 25, 2005. Ritter was the social spokesman for the SPÖ state parliament club.
