The Explorers Shoals are a 250 m long and around 200 m wide area of shoals and submerged reef rocks off the George V coast in East Antarctica . You are in front of Cape Denison on the east side of the entrance to the Boat Harbor .
It is named after the three-masted Dick Smith Explorer , a research ship owned by the Australian entrepreneur and adventurer Richard Harold "Dick" Smith (* 1944).
