The Extension Reef (roughly translated from English extension reef ) is a reef west of the Antarctic Peninsula . In the Biscoe Islands archipelago , it includes a large number of small islands and reef rocks and extends from the southern end of Rabot Island over a length of 16 km in a south-westerly direction.
Participants in the British Graham Land Expedition (1934–1937), led by the Australian polar explorer John Rymill, discovered it and gave it a descriptive name.
