Eyeless in Gaza is a British post-punk / new wave group consisting of Martyn Bates and Peter Becker from Nuneaton , Warwickshire . The band is named after a novel by Aldous Huxley (Eng. Blinded in Gaza ).

history

Founded in 1980, it came to an interruption in 1987 when Martyn Bates pursued a number of solo projects and collaborations, only to reappear in 1993 as Eyeless in Gaza with the old cast. Eyeless in Gaza once described their style of music as "crazy back and forth from film atmosphere to rock and pop, industrial funk to avant-folk styles."
