Ezel Akay (* 1961 ) is a Turkish actor , film director and film producer .

Live and act

Ezel Akay was born in 1961. After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at Bosporus University , he trained as an actor at Villanova University, USA .

Before Ezel Akay became active in the Turkish film industry as a co-founder of the Turkish film production company IFR , he worked, among other things, as a copywriter , theater director and actor. Since founding his production company IFR , he has directed more than 500 commercials .

In 1996, together with the Turkish film director Dervis Zaim , he produced the Turkish film Tabutta Rövasata, which has won several national and international awards . With Firuze, which has won multiple awards in Turkey, where are you? Ezel Akay first directed a feature film in 2004. His directorial work Firuze, where are you? , Execution of the Shadows and 7 husbands for Hurmuz also came to German cinemas.
