Ezilo
Ezilo (also Hezilo ) is led as Bishop of Brandenburg from 1018 to 1023 , even if he was never ordained a bishop.
Life
Bishop Arnulf von Halberstadt made Ezilo abbot when the Ilsenburg Monastery was founded in 1018. Between 1018 and 1023 he was elected Bishop of Brandenburg, but did not receive episcopal consecration. His death is said to have been on July 23, 1023 at the latest.
