The Zehendermätteli – Bremgarten ferry is a passenger ferry across the Aare in the Swiss canton of Bern .

The ferry runs from Bremgarten near Bern , west of the Aare, to Zehendermätteli on the narrow peninsula of the city of Bern on the east bank. The ferry does not operate in winter.

The then tenant of the Zehendermätteli estate received permission from the government council to operate a ferry on October 1, 1957. In 1988 the ferry was overhauled with the financial support of the Burgergemeinde Bern , the canton, the Berner Wanderwege and the city of Bern; the Bremgarten community pledged an annual deficit contribution.
