Fährwall 8 (Stralsund)
The house with the postal address Fährwall 8 is a listed building in the Hanseatic city of Stralsund on Fährwall .
The five-story , seven-axle house was built in the third quarter of the 19th century. It was initially used as a storage facility.
The facade is made of brick . The outer axes are designed as flat risalits . Both the gate entrances on the ground floor and the hatches on the upper floors are closed off in an arched segment .
The house is located in the core area of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 188.
