Félicité is an island in the Seychelles and, like all granite islands, is part of the inner Seychelles around the main island of Mahé . It is located about 50 kilometers from Mahé.
Félicité is around three square kilometers, making it the sixth largest island in the inner Seychelles. Today it is used as a holiday island. Until the 1970s, the island served as a coconut plantation, on which around 50 people lived. Sultan Abdullah of Perak was interned here by the British in the late 19th century .
The island, with its neighboring islands of Ile Cocos , Les Soeurs and Marianne, is one of the so-called “satellite islands” of La Digue .
