Fóia is a 902 m high mountain in Portugal west of Monchique . The mountain belonging to the Serra de Monchique is the highest point in the Algarve and thus southern Portugal.

classification

The highest point in continental Portugal is the Torre with 1993  m in the Serra da Estrela in central Portugal. The volcano of the same name on the island of Pico , which belongs to the Azores, is the highest point in Portugal at 2351  m .
