The Förster-Kliffs are 3 km long and 550 m high cliffs with an east-west extension in the north of the West Antarctic James Ross Island . They rise east-northeast of Stark Point .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1987 after the German geologist Reinhard Förster (1935-1987) from the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich , who was part of a team from the British Antarctic Survey to explore this area between 1985 and 1986.
