Fünfbrunnen ( Luxembourgish Pafemillen , French Cinqfontaines ) is a town in the Luxembourg municipality of Wintger not far from Ulflingen . Apart from a monastery, the village consists of only a few buildings.

It became known as the only place of internment for Jews in the German- occupied Luxembourg. From 1941 to 1943 the Jewish old people's home in Fünfbrunnen was housed in the monastery, the name of which was actually a collection camp for deportations to the concentration and extermination camps . On the grounds of the Fünfbrunnen Monastery today, a memorial and an information board commemorate the deportation and murder of Luxembourg's Jews.

During and after the Second World War , the monastery housed a US military hospital .
