The fifteen (15) is the natural number between fourteen and sixteen . It's odd .

Fifteen is a Størmer number and a Bell number (sequence A000110 in OEIS ).

language

In Italian and French, a point in time after two weeks is not expressed as in fourteen days , as in German , but fra quindici giorni / dans quinze jours (i.e. 'in 15 days').

In Spanish, the number 15 ( quince ) is the last non-composite number, the first real composite number is 16 ( dieciséis , or more rarely diez y seis ). Portuguese only uses composite numbers from 16 onwards.

The Quindecimviri sacris faciundis (literally 'fifteen men to carry out sacrifices') were one of the four highest Roman priests' colleges.

The quinceañera , the feast for the fifteenth birthday of a girl, has a special meaning in the Catholic tradition of Central America as a transition to marriageable age, ie to growing up.
