For Ettlingen
For Ettlingen e. V. (FE) is a Founded in 2003, voter community in the city of Ettlingen , Baden-Wuerttemberg , which in the local election was on 13 June 2004 at first attempt with nine seats second strongest force in Ettlinger council and also at the county council election of the district Karlsruhe a Seat won.
The goals were to break the absolute majority of the CDU and to prevent a majority of the alliance made up of the SPD , the Greens and the FDP (“ traffic light ”). Both goals were achieved.
The most prominent candidate was the soccer coach Winfried Schäfer , who was elected to the local council and received the most votes from all the candidates. Thanks to its high number of votes, the “FE” was able to obtain four overhang seats. This result could no longer be achieved in the subsequent elections.
For the 2019 local elections , Für Ettlingen (FE) stood in a joint list with the free voters (FW); the list connection could win 5 council seats. The two groups of voters had already formed a parliamentary group in the city council since January 2018 (FE: 4 seats; FW: 3 seats), in the district council the associations appear together under the name “Free Voters”. Both groups are members of the Baden-Württemberg State Association of Free Voters .
