Fārūq Hamāda

Fārūq Hamāda ( Arabic فاروق حمادة, DMG Fārūq Ḥamāda ; * 1950 in Tell Dahab, Homs Governorate, Syria) is a legal scholar and author who deals with Islamic legal issues, in particular the application of Sharia and Hadith . He is a professor at the Mohammed V University in Morocco . He is Advisor to the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi , United Arab Emirates .

He was one of the 138 signatories of the open letter a common word between us and you ( english A Common Word Between Us and You ), the personalities of Islam to "leaders of Christian churches everywhere" (Engl. "Leaders of Christian Churches, everywhere ..." ) (October 13, 2007).
