Fərhad Vəliyev (also Färhad Väliyev , Farhad Veliyev ; born November 1, 1980 in Quba , Azerbaijani SSR , Soviet Union ) is an Azerbaijani football goalkeeper .
Vəliyev started his career at the small club Kimyaçı Sumqayıt . In the following years he changed frequently and played a. a. with the four-time national champion Neftçi Baku . Since 2007 he has played for the capital club Qarabağ Ağdam . With this he was able to celebrate winning the Azerbaijani Cup in 2009. In qualifying for the Europa League 2009/10 , he played six games.
In 2006 he made his debut in the national team and has since developed into a permanent fixture and the goalkeeper of national coach Berti Vogts' team .
