history

The association was founded in 1921. During the Nazi era it was merged with the local gymnastics club and became independent again after the war.

The greatest sporting success was the promotion to the 1st Amateur League North Bavaria in 1954, in which it lasted two seasons.

From 2012/13 up to and including the 2017/18 season, the team played as SG Pressig / Rothenkirchen .
