Stages
In the early days of the club, FC Vale of Leithen played in Caddon Park, across from an old slaughterhouse in Innerleithen. A soccer field was set up in the public park and a wooden hut was built. The home team prepared for the upcoming games directly in this, while the visiting teams and the referee prepared in the nearby St. Ronan's Hotel. From 1922, Victoria Park on Hall Street, leased from the city, served as its home ground. In the second round of the Scottish Cup in the 1961/62 season , 3,700 people watched the game against Heart of Midlothian , which holds the attendance record for Vale of Leithen to this day . In the early morning hours of August 3, 1974, a devastating fire destroyed large parts of Victoria Park .
