history

Even before the club was officially founded, games were played under the name FC Wülflingen in the 1910s. The club itself was founded in 1924 and the first soccer field was the Brunniwiese near the Hardareal . Since this playing field was actually too small, they played with a special permit until 1933, when the club moved to the Schöntal playground, southwest of the Ausserdorf schoolhouse. As part of the cultivation battle, the playground was plowed over in 1939 and FC Wülflingen enjoyed hospitality on the lower Schützenwiese of city rivals SC Veltheim until the end of World War II , whereby even the city council had to intervene in disputes between the two clubs. The club was finally able to leave the Schützenwiese in 1948 and moved into its current soccer field on the Sporrer north of Wülflingen, where a club club was also built in 1962. Today's clubhouse has existed since 1990. In the 1999/2000 season, the club was able to play in the then third-class first division for one season , but missed the league by one point and was relegated again.
