The FC Baia Zugdidi ( Georgian ბაია ზუგდიდი ) is a Georgian football club from Zugdidi . He plays in Georgia's second highest division , the Pirveli League . The club colors are red and white.
history
In 1918 the association was founded under the name Odischi Zugdidi and has had several name changes and mergers over time.
In the 2003/04 season, the club played under the name FC Spartak Lasika Zugdidi in the first Georgian league, but only reached 11th place there, so rose again after only one season. After a few years in the second division, the club managed to return to the top division of Georgia in 2006 under its new name FC Mglebi Zugdidi (Georgian მგლები ზუგდიდი , in German: Wolves Zugdidi ). In 2009 it was renamed Baia Zugdidi again . The home of the club is the Anaklia Stadium, which seats 1,000.
