The Erovnuli Liga 2 ( Georgian უმაღლესი ლიგა 2, in German National League 2 ) is the second highest football league in Georgia .

mode

After switching operations to calendar mode, ten teams took part in the second division from 2017. At the same time the name was changed to Erovnuli Liga 2 ( Georgian ეროვნული ლიგა 2, in German Nationale Liga 2 ), analogous to the first division.

The champions of the current season will be promoted directly to the top division . The second and third placed clubs in turn take part in a playoff round for promotion to the first division, in which the eighth and ninth of the first division also take part. There is also a playoff round for the eighth and ninth in the second division, here it goes against relegation to League 3. The club in tenth place is also relegated directly.
